Brooklyn Eagle-Replacing Condo Nears Topping Out

Two of the five units in the new 30 Henry Street condo project are already in contract, but the Brooklyn Heights building itself is still just a shell. We walked past it this morning to check on the progress; all of the floors are in place, and construction workers were starting on the top-story ceiling. Designed by BKSK Architects, the finished product will be a red brick structure accented with a neighbor-matching cornice and black Juliet balconies.

The units are full-floor condos, and the penthouse and first floor went into contract for $1,730/square foot and $1,404/square foot respectively, bringing the sale prices to $4.95M and $3.395M. The building website doesn't specify when the place will be ready for occupancy, but back in November, Brooklyn Heights Blog said the building would be complete by late summer.
