Birthday Shenanigans

The celebration for the 100-year-old Grand Central Terminal continues with a new website created by two NYC-loving Spaniards asking the public to suggest actual birthday presents to give the station. Hailing from NYC to Ecuador, gift ideas range from the dreamy and fantastical ("I would give more stars to the Milky Way in her sky"; "A romantic dinner with the Empire State... they would be a good couple!") to the just plain bizarre ("turning the whole Grand Central Station into a giant cake"). Here's one that would really piss off commuters trying to get home: "A day without departure trains; after 100 years witnessing goodbyes, she would really appreciate a day full of welcomes!" Also, pretty much everyone seems to think that GCT is personified as a lady. [CurbedWire Inbox; official site]
