Midtown power building One Beacon Court has been the site of some?many?successful flips. But can it produce the one flip to rule them all? Hedge fund bigwig Steven Cohen of SAC Capital Advisors is going to try. He has put his duplex in One Beacon Court on the market for $115 million, according to the Times. We haven't spotted a listing yet?anyone?
The penthouse, if sold for that amount, would of course bust all Manhattan apartment price records. (Though we're sure another challenger will be along within a few months.) The Times reports that Cohen paid around $24 million for the 51st- and 52nd-floor apartment in 2005; it looks like he might have done so in two separate sales.
