Eye on the Bike

Hey remember the bike share? The first phase of Citi Bike will roll out this May (finally!), but because of damage caused to equipment stored in the Brooklyn Navy Yard during Hurricane Sandy, it will only include 263 stations, not the originally planned 420. The DOT updated its map showing the first stations will hit Manhattan south of Central Park and part of Brooklyn bound by Atlantic, Nostrand, and Flushing Avenues. By the end of 2013, North Brooklyn and LIC will also have stations. [Streetsblog; previously]
