Prewar Yorkville Co-op Available at a Significant Discount

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Price: $685,000
Address: 332 East 84th Street #6A
Size: 2BR, 1BA
Maintenance: $1,915

This top-floor Upper East Side co-op was listed for $945,000 back in 2011, chopped down to $875,000, and delisted later that year. Perhaps it was the high maintenance fees that scared off potential buyers that time around, but now the owner(s) appear to be really serious about selling as the apartment just returned to the market for a mere $685,000, only 72 percent of its original ask (and those percentages matter quite a bit more when it's The Six Digit Club we're talking about.) The charming little 2BR—one could even say 3BR—manages to pack in a foyer/hallway, molding, french doors, a decorative fireplace, and a chandelier.
