Starting this Sunday, the expansive model of NYC in miniature at the Queens Museum of Art, which was originally built by Robert Moses for the 1964 World's Fair, will get a special addition: the city's historic districts will be colored red to mark the 50th anniversary of the New York Landmarks Law. Another cool resource to check out is CityMap, which allows you to see historic aerial shots of the neighborhood of your choice. So you're a passionate preservationist and cartographically crazy, too? Right this way. [GVHSP; official]
