Tribeca's 71 Laight Street Launches Teaser Site, Gets Named

New, 6 comments

Taconic Investment Partners purchased 71 Laight Street (aka 401 Washington Street) from Alvaro Arranz for $65 million in January, and it looks like they are picking up right where he left off. Tribeca Citizen spotted a teaser site for the future condo building, which will be called?drumroll please?the Sterling Mason. The site shows a new rendering of the Moris Adjmi-designed building's half aluminum, half brick facade. There aren't many other details available, but it will have 33 units, plus a bike storage, a roof terrace, and fitness center. The Department of Buildings website shows a lot of active work permits, so any and all construction photos are welcome on the tipline.
