The weather is (finally) getting warmer, which means that its time for Lower Manhattanites to break out one of their favorite pastimes: passive aggressively complaining about tourists. The subjects of today's controversy are the "wayfinding" signs that the Department of Transportation is installing in three boroughs. Designed to help tourists orient themselves in Manhattan's super-confusing "grid" system, the signs are already being decried as "eyesores," "unsightly," and "a magnet for graffiti" by the Soho Alliance.
