Long Island College Hospital is clinging to what little life it has left. A judge ordered the hospital to cease all closure activity until a hearing on May 2, giving the medical center a one-month reprieve. The action was brought by the hospital's doctors, nurses, and union members, who claim the decision to close LICH was "arbitrary and capricious."
