The mysterious days of the long-vacant lot at 211 East 13th Street are starting to feel like a distant memory. The new condo building?named the Jefferson for the vaudeville theater that once sat on the site?topped out a few weeks ago, and now a full website has been launched, revealing the pricing and interiors. The website, spotted by BuzzBuzz Home, currently has 11 listings, from a 536-square-foot studio listed for $850,000 to a two-bedroom penthouse with a rooftop terrace asking $2.49 million. Available one-bedrooms range from 776 to 1,103-square-feet and are priced between $1.11 and $1.54 million. There will be a total of 83 units, and the building is aiming for LEED Gold certification.
Residences will have ceilings higher than 9-feet, walnut floors, "smart-home ready electric blinds," and washer/dryers. Kitchens are outfitted with Eggersmann oak cabinets and ceilings, Corian countertops, and "enviable" stainless steel appliances, including Sub-Zero refrigerators (wine and regular), Wolf range and microwave, and a Bosch dishwasher. The building will have a 24-hour doorman, residents' lounge with a fireplace and pool table, business center, and a landscaped rooftop garden with a gazebo (that explains the mystery thing on the roof), barbecue, bar, and outdoor shower. And don't forget about those for-purchase private cabanas. No word yet on when the place will be complete or what kind of retail will take the ground floor.
