Designer Nate Berkus Lists West Village Pad for $699,000

New, 20 comments

The "Nate Berkus-designed and thoroughly renovated" 1BR at 32 Downing Street wasn't just designed by Nate Berkus, it was designed for Nate Berkus, who purchased it for $550,000 in 2006. Berkus already owns bigger NYC digs, so it's no surprise to see that he's ready to ditch the Downing Street 1BR. It is now for sale at $699,000. Curbed National dug up an Oprah Magazine piece describing the way Berkus renovated the space. For anyone who wants a bit of that Berkus magic, the limestone-topped bar is made from a conference table that used to sit in Berkus's old Chicago office.
