Annie Leibovitz Cuts Greenwich Street Compound Price to $29M

New, 34 comments

Photographer Annie Leibovitz's compound on Greenwich Street?a collection of three unconnected townhouses?first hit the market in December with an asking price of $33 million. No buyers have been willing to pay that amount for Leibovitz's 10,200 square feet, and Leibovitz isn't waiting around. A tipster points out that the price has been chopped to $29 million, a $4 million, or 12 percent, discount. Intrigued, bargain-hunters?

At 757 Greenwich Street, the living space within the compound, there's a guest triplex and a third-floor master suite with a doorway leading directly into 755 Greenwich, Leibovitz's studio space. The studio's parlor floor has a workstation and reception room, and the third floor has another workspace and an office-slash-library. The buildings share a private West 11th Street courtyard. It all sounds great?but is it still too individual to find a buyer at $29M?
