Brooklyn's most valuable townhouse (i.e. the house with the borough's highest tax assessment), 40 Willow Place, sold for $7.3 million last August only to be re-listed for $7.95 million five months later. We learned that the house had gone into contract back in February and, now that the sale has hit ACRIS, the closing price of $7.65 million has been revealed. Not exactly a huge flip, but a nice little profit for the sellers, who spent less than a year in the highly modern townhouse. The new owner is shielded by an LLC, making Brooklyn's most mysterious mansion that much more mysterious.
