It's getting harder to use the subway as an excuse for not answering your phone. Today, the MTA expanded wireless and cellphone service to 30 underground stations in Manhattan. Currently, only AT&T and T-Mobile service is offered, but Verizon and Sprint are finalizing agreements to join the network, which was built by Transit Wireless.
