The subway smells rank, but at least inhaling all the way isn't bad for you. That's the good news out of a study of air quality in our underground transit lair, according to Atlantic Cities, which decoded the scientific technicalities of University of Colorado researchers' findings. They found that, while the air is basically like what's outside, it has an additional dose of non-threatening microbial elements?in plain terms, infinitesimal pieces of shed skin. But don't worry, because the concentration of skin bits in the air is probably higher at your office. Was that supposed to be reassuring? [AC]
