Hint: Where One Home Stood, Now There Are Many

New, 4 comments

Today, wooden houses are few and far between in New York City, but there was once a time when these quaint abodes were common across the city. This little farmhouse outlasted many of its neighbors and found itself sandwiched between two multi-family apartment buildings in the early 1900s. Not long after this photo was taken, it too succumbed to a larger development. Do you know the address of this site? Bonus points if you name the photographer, too.
