It's been eight years since the city rezoned the North Brooklyn waterfront, and neighborhood residents are still waiting on their promised Bushwick Inlet Park. The city only owns two of the six sites planned for the park, and they only have enough money to buy one of the remaining four. Residents are now worried that the city may take the Brooklyn Bridge Park private-public partnership route and plop some condos on the site to help pay for the green space.
