Developments of the Future

Put on your creative thinking caps, developers. The city is looking for someone to transform a 185,000-square-foot triangular site in the South Bronx, and officials have put very few restrictions on the Request for Proposals. The project can be up to 1 million-square-feet and must include some affordable units and commercial space, but there are no requirements for how much of each. Evidently, the city wants to "see what the development community is interested in building." [Crain's; official RFP]
