West Chelsea ConstructoPorn; Sales Update In Court Square

New, 2 comments

WEST CHELSEA?A tipster sent along some awesome construction shots of projects going up near the High Line in West Chelsea, and we're having trouble identifying two of them. Before you berate us for not knowing, it's hard to identify half-built building skeletons when you can't even see what street they are on. And hey, we got two (possibly three) out of four. See the captions in the gallery above to find out where they are. [CurbedWire Inbox]

COURT SQUARE?Long Island City's microhood of Court Square is really feeling the residential boom... or something. There's a growing list of new developments, one of which is The Vista, where sales have passed 51 percent. The 15-story, 48-unit building reached the halfway point just six months after starting sales. Units range from 475-square-foot studios to 965-square-foot two-bedrooms. Buyer will be able to move-in this June. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]

MIDTOWN EAST?On April 11th, Grand Central is hosting a full day of talks and panels dedicated to the terminal's history. There are three events throughout the day: the first brings together railroad experts, the second discusses the battle to save Grand Central, and the closing event brings together authors who have written about the terminal. Find all the info here. [CurbedWire Inbox; official]
