A tipster walking by a Lafayette storefront just south of Houston Street got curious about some mysterious lights emanating from the property. As would we! A bit of investigation revealed that the mystery lights are not related to the glass station soon going up nearby. But they are related to another new project?The Schumacher, the loft conversion of one of the neighborhood's first large commercial buildings on Bleecker Street. The storefront, formerly home to some pop-ups, will be the project's sales office.
