The attorney general's fraud case against former National Arts Club president Aldon James will be allowed to proceed, a Manhattan Supreme Court judge ruled yesterday. The attorney general's suit claims that James misused $2 million of the club's funds during the last five years of his presidency. Now that the case is allowed to proceed, the AG's office, not the club, will have to take care of the legal bills. [NYDN; previously]
