Park Slope House Nets Owner $1M, Everything Back to Normal

New, 3 comments

After yesterday's news that a townhouse in Park Slope sold for—gaspa loss, it seemed like the world had been turned upside down. But now the world is right side up again as 113 Saint John's Place, a four-story Neo-Grec brownstone, sold for $3.85 million ($100,000 over the asking price) after appearing on the market two months ago. The seller bought the house in 2007 for $2.9 million and updated the plumbing and electrical systems, remodeled the bathrooms, rebuilt the staircases, and added some fireplaces, but left the majority of the late 19th century detailing intact. And that is how it's done.
