Architect Winka Dubbeldam redesigned the building at 11 Hubert Street into her own live/work space, but she decided early last year that she was ready to move on, listing the place for $16.7 million. It PriceChopped a bit but never sold, and now the plan appears to have changed somewhat. Just a portion of the building, designated #1/3B, is up for grabs, with an asking price of $5.95 million. It's a triplex totaling 4,518 square foot, and if we're interpreting the brokerbabble correctly, it's the headquarters of Dubbeldam's first, Archi-tectonics. We've reached out to one of the listing brokers for more details on the building's fate, and we'll update when we know more. UPDATE: Broker Amanda Sawyer tells us that what's being sold is a partnership in the building that amounts to about 30 percent of the space. The remaining partner wishes to take the building condo and would hope to work with the new owner to accomplish that.
