The James A. Farley Post Office isn't getting turned into a train station anytime soon, but it is slated to be a dynamic stage for a new show about the last 400 years of New York history. Guides dressed as Walt Whitman, Jane Jacobs, and others will lead about 100 audience members at a time through the colonnaded building's empty offices and a former mail-sorting room as they encounter other big names (Robert Moses, Dorothy Parker) in city lore. Manna-hata runs June 7-23; tickets are available now. [DNAinfo]
