The National Arts Club on Gramercy Park voted in a new president late last week. This closes (we can only hope) an era marked by financial woes, club higher-ups having free or below-market-rate apartments, and some of the rooms and apartments turned into piles of garbage. The new president promises to "concentrate on making sure that the club is financially sound." Maybe we'll see those market-rate rental apartments soon. [DNAinfo; previously]
