Three vacant lots in Fort Greene will give way to a 32-room hotel designed by Michael Kang Architects. The five-story building will be at 143 Park Avenue, between Cumberland Street and Carlton Avenue, near to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This is the part of Park Avenue that the BQE runs above, so a decent amount of rooms will likely have prime views of the expressway. The plans have yet to be approved by the DOB, but the developer, Choice Hotel group, hope to start construction next year. [Brownstoner]
