Our favorite quirky houseboat of fun, the Yankee Ferry, has a new tenant. Ad copywriter Terin Izil left her Upper West Side sublet for a berth in the 1907-built vessel moored in Hoboken, which sailed in both WW1 and WW2 and last served Ellis Island as a passenger ferry. She's blogging regularly about her adventures living aboard the Yankee with its artist owners and a menagerie of two dogs, a cat, six chickens, and two kittens. Do check it out for some entertaining tales, including roughing it in the floating bathroom, from Izil's new home by the dock of the Hudson. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
