Brownstoner unearthed a rather, er, eye-catching rendering for a three-story development that could be rising at 66 Boerum Place. The image shows a glass mall-like space, with a cylindrical spaceship vestibule at the corner. It's probably not for spaceships, but why else would eerie yellow lights be beaming from the rooftop? The rendering is from developer ACHS Management's website, and Brownstoner couldn't get any other details out of them than what's already online. The project will have 62,800-square-feet of commercial and retail space, and there will be 168-feet of frontage on Atlantic Avenue. Currently, construction fencing lines the site and the former parking lot is gone, but the DOB application for the three-story building is still pending.
