Domed American Thread Penthouse Now $1 Million More

New, 10 comments

If any building is going to pull off a PriceUpper, it's the American Thread Building, a Tribeca classic. The building's penthouse 11A hit the market in mid-April, boasting two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a 28-foot diameter rotunda, and a $10.5 million asking price. That number has now been bumped up to $11.5 million. The apartment, designed by Thomas O'Brien of Aero Studios, last sold for $7.35 million in 2006. We encourage whoever buys the place to resume using the rotunda as an aerodance space.
