It's been two years since we spotted the first building permits for Hello Living's condo building at 618 Washington Avenue, and the project is just about ready to say hello to prospective buyers. The building exterior is nearly complete, and BuzzBuzz Home spotted the first photos of the model unit on the developer's Facebook page. Above, you can see the balconies feature striated sapphire glass railings, which light up with LEDs?and the glowing feature has already drawn the ire of the neighbors. Via Facebook: "We live across the street, and are wondering if the lights glowing from the balcony will be on at night? It is pretty awful." Someone from Hello Living responded to say they are working on a dimming solution.
The 7-story, 10-unit building has a rooftop deck, and it was designed by Zambrano Architectural Design. The developer's website is pretty light on details about the unit interiors, but, as you can see below, they have dark floors and cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and floor-to-ceiling windows along the terraces. According to BuzzBuzz, the floors in the units are heated. We reached out to the developer for more details, so we'll update if/when we hear back.
