New Hotel For 47th Street; DIY Home Design Workshops

New, 13 comments

MIDTOWN EAST?A tipster alerted us to a new hotel planned for 145-147 East 47th Street. The current buildings on site are being demolished, and permits have been filed for a new 22-story building with 93 hotel rooms and a top-floor penthouse. The street level will be a restaurant/bar, and there will be a rooftop terrace and bike storage. The architect of record is C3D Architecture, the same firm that did Park Avenue's Glassy Intruder and 46th Street's Gotham Hotel, so we won't be surprised if this hotel is a sleek modern tower with a plaid-like window pattern.
