Development-Ready Corner Lot on Fourth Avenue Asks $24M

New, 7 comments

Hey developers, want to build that glassy building you see above? You're in luck! The site, at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 10th Street, has just hit the market for $24 million (h/t Vanishing New York). Located on the same stretch of Fourth Avenue as the newly opened Hyatt Union Square and almost-finished 51 Astor Place, the site has been poised for development for nearly six years. Once upon a time a 13-story hotel was planned, but that never came to be, and now Massey Knakal is marketing the corner lot as a prime development site. It's a two-building property and both properties can be delivered vacant. The listing says "plans exist for a nine story mixed-use building with 8 floor through apartments and a bi-level retail space with double height ceilings," and it could look something like the rendering above. Any takers?
