The fate of the landmarked Ridgewood Theater has been questionable ever since it closed in 2008, and now that the 97-year-old building is selling to a new owner, a local architect hopes to see parts of it return to cultural use. The developer will likely convert the theater into residences, and the architect's theater-support group, We Love Ridgewood Theater, will ask for creative community spaces to be included within the building.
