Halcyon Interior Renderings Revealed

You may remember 305 East 51st Street as the site of a crane collapse that killed seven people and damaged some property way back in 2008. Now, a 32-story residential building, The Halcyon, is under construction, and renderings have just been released.

The HFZ Capital project will feature 123 one- to four-bedroom units, with pricing starting at $1.5 million. Amenities include a 50-foot heated pool, a sauna, a full fitness center (with juice bar and private massage room), an "Aqua Spa," and a rooftop lounge. Designer S. Russell Groves will be handling the interiors, whom the website describes as evoking "a feeling of casual glamour in this modern, clean and contemporary building, with a sense of ease and tranquility."

UPDATE: Here's an email from the PR agent handling The Halcyon with corrections:

I wanted to send a quick note that pricing is starting at approximately $1.3 million and there isn't a rooftop lounge. However, there are two lounges in the building – The Sky Lounge (located within the 21st and 22nd floor amenity space) and a 2nd floor space that includes a library, children's playroom, golf room, and outdoor lounge with a landscaped terrace and outdoor fire pit.
