Two buildings owned by St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church in Greenpoint, including a former school, will be going residential. Developer Seventeen Monitor LLC has signed a 49-year lease for the buildings (with the possibility of buying them) and will convert 17 Monitor Street into 69 residential units and 21 Monitor Street into 15 residential units. No word yet on how long the conversion will take, but since the lease runs until 2062, they've got time. [Real Deal]
