Townhouse Formerly Known as Pinkstone Now Wants $4.8M

New, 15 comments

The buyers of Park Slope's famous pepto pink brownstone, who paid $2.075 million for the century-old townhouse in October, did more than just strip off the house's trademark pink paint. They also renovated the interiors, replaced all the mechanicals, and have now returned the house to the market for $4.795 million. The new, modern version of the townhouse is separated into a garden-level rental and an owner's triplex and features a brand new kitchen, preserved original woodwork, and a finished basement. Sure, it's a nice place and all but it's unlikely to inspire any pop stars to film music videos in front of it.
