In a feud that's been brewing for years and has finally erupted, Joseph Nedlin, a resident of 80 Central Park West, is suing his downstairs neighbor, Jonathan Breit, for $30,000 due to his incessant piano playing, claiming that the professional composer practices for up to 12 hours a day. Even in the face of a lawsuit, Breit seems unperturbed, telling the Daily News, "I kind of feel sympathy for him. Maybe the soundproofing isn't so good in this building," and the Post, "This is definitely an Upper West Side problem." Nah, dude, sounds more like a you-making-lots-of-noise-in-your-building problem. They have those all over. [NYDN, NYP]
