Over on West 52nd Street, just south (and with a view) of Mercedes House, a new affordable building is now taking applications. 535 West 52nd Street is a 95-unit co-op priced between $150/square foot and $500/square foot, depending on the buyer's income. Judging by the renderings, which we've collected in the gallery above, the project has a fairly standard new development look, with fairly standard new development amenities, including a gym, part-time doorman, landscaped garden, bike storage, and 40-year tax abatement.
