Gowanus Boutique Hotel Now Up for Grabs at $12 Million

New, 6 comments

After a few years playing host to retirement-age rockers the owners of the Hotel Le Bleu are themselves ready for retirement. Brownstoner reports that the hotel is on the market for $12 million, rooftop restaurant and lounge included. Gowanus is certainly seeing a wave of hotel construction these days, so maybe Hotel Le Bleu's powers that be simply feel their trailblazing services are no longer required. It's certainly been a challenging run: neighbors were quickly fed up with the "disorderly patrons and booming music" coming from the hotel's rooftop disco, and the hotel eventually shuttered the club in favor of an Italian restaurant. What will the hotel's next act be?
