Decoded: The Most 'Artistic' of Apartment Listings

New, 4 comments

Welcome back to The Brokerbabble Glossary, where we take a word or a turn of phrase that seems to show up in an unreasonable number of listings and decipher its true meaning. If you have any ideas for us, send them to the tipline. Today's word: Artistic.

Out of context, art can be difficult to identify. If something is hanging on a wall in an art museum, that's probably art (or a sign telling you not to touch the art). If it's hanging from the ceiling in a Seward Park co-op it's probably not art. Then again, maybe it is. Does it have red tinted light bulbs? That's one way you can tell.

It is actually possible that this staircase is paralleled in artistic nature.

Also known as owning a condo.

Or just calling whoever doesn't mind sleeping in the attic.
