Now that conversion work is underway at 101 Leonard Street, the real fun starts: sales! The first six of the 66 condos have hit the market, with prices starting at $1.3 million for an 835-square-foot 1BR/1BA on a lower level. Units consist of one-, two- and three-bedrooms up to 1,963-square-feet in size. The three- and four-bedroom penthouses are larger, starting at 2,666-square-feet, and two of these have private terraces. Mitchell Freedland Design created the interiors, outfitting the homes with Appalachian oak floors, quartzite countertops, Miele stove tops, Grohe fixtures, and custom wood and lacquered cabinetry.

The most expensive unit currently on the market is three-bedroom penthouse asking $5.5 million, but the other two penthouses will likely cost more, as they have the terraces. Italian developer Bizzi & Partners is working with SLCE Architects to complete the renovation, and the building should be finished next summer.
