Bed-Stuy Condo Sets Neighborhood Record With $1M Sale

New, 78 comments

A 1,559-square-foot condo with a private rooftop terrace has sold for more than $1 million, likely setting a record for gentrifying Bed-Stuy. Located at 105 Lexington Avenue, the duplex was listed at $999,000, but according to the Daily News, the sale will be recorded at $1.04 million because the buyer is paying the entire transfer tax. The terrace measures 657-square-feet, and the home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 13-foot ceilings. The building, called Lot 58 Lofts, was finished in 2008, but this penthouse unit never sold. It had been previously listed for $949,000.
