One Madison Park Will Officially Launch Sales Post-Labor Day

New, 7 comments

UPDATE: This just in on the tipline! A tipster sent some details regarding pricing and sizes. There is a duplex unit encompassing 6,000-square-feet on on the 55th and 56th floors that will be listed for $37.5 million, and there is a triplex penthouse (déjà vu?) on floors 58 to 60, with 7,143-square-feet of interior space and a 586-square-foot terrace. It will be listed for upwards of $50 million, which is only $5 million more than the penthouse was listed for the first time around. No floor plans yet though, because the offering plan has yet to be approved.

First it was spring. Then it was August. Now, it's September. The Post reports that troubled One Madison Park will officially launch sales "after Labor Day," which could mean January for all we know, but we're taking it to mean September. Though, with this building, who really knows? Related Companies took control of the condo tower last year and promptly embarked on changing things, which is likely why sales have been continually delayed. The developer redesigned the 22nd Street entrance, the lobby, and the amenities, and they gutted the upper floors to change the layouts and finishes.

We previously reported that the full-floor three- and four-bedrooms will be the first units to come to market, with prices starting at $10.5 million. Unfortunately, the Post has no information about new pricing, only noting that units traded for more than $3,000 per square foot in the past. What the Post does have is a couple rumors about possible residents. Apparently Leonardo DiCaprio looked at "a luxurious condo" in the building, as did Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady earlier this year.
