The listing of a renovated Time Warner Center penthouse last week for $75 million appears to have touched off a mini-selling frenzy on the upper floors. Billionaire socialite Anna Anisimova has re-listed her 75th-floor pad for $50 million, the same price it was asking in April 2012. It failed to sell then, but a renter apparently agreed to pay somewhere in the vicinity of $60,000 month to keep the place occupied for another year. With that year almost up, the place is once again available for rent?this time at $70,000/month?or for that $50M price tag.
The renovation, once featured in Elle Decor, was designed by Noel Jeffrey. As in many Time Warner units, the decor here leaves us...well, a little bored, but surely there's someone out there who will pay the big bugs for a Ceruse Oak-paneled library with silver tea paper ceiling and matching bathroom?
