Palatial Sutton Place Duplex Asks $7.75 Million

New, 15 comments

You may remember The Sovereign over in Sutton Place as host of New York City's premier 1980s time warp (and Boogie Nights-themed apartment), but the latest offering in the luxury building is decidedly less horrific. At 6,000-square-feet, this sprawling 8BR/7.5BA duplex features a media room, a playroom, an intercom system, and a library with a somewhat dinky pool table that looks like the kind of place where powerful white men smoke cigars and talk "business." There are also some nice views of the Queensboro Bridge and the East River. The asking price is $7.75 million, which sounds about right.
