Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.
Address: 230 East 73rd Street #2G
Size: 1BR/1BA, 900 sq. ft.
The resident(s) of this Upper East Side one-bedroom seem to have taken a page out of Cosmo Kramer's book and gone out for the sunken living room. The unit features hardwood floors and lots of closet space, overlooking the building's quiet courtyard (which makes the fact that its on the second-floor decidedly more tolerable). For its size, it's a little expensive, but the building's location on 73rd Street and its prewar architecture (designed by Art Deco titan Emery Roth in 1937) offsets the price quite a bit. Also, the lobby looks like it should be in Men in Black headquarters.
