No, he's not really lost. Japanese artist Nobutaka Aozaki has made a neat little project out of pretending to be a foreign tourist. Wearing a Yankees cap and carrying a Century 21 bag, he asks for directions and collects helpful New Yorkers' free-hand maps, scribbled on scraps of paper. When these makeshift guides are cobbled together, it creates a cool crowdsourced collage that is intentionally sketchy and extremely personal. [PSFK; official]
