First Look At East 7th Street's New Six-Unit Condo Building

New, 26 comments

In March, we learned that a six-story, six-unit condo building would replace a parking lot at 277 East 7th Street between Avenues C and D, and now we know what the boutique building will look like. Architect Joseph Eisner of Eisner Design, along with development partner Steve Ferguson, created a building with floor-through residences that have Juliet balconies and Nana glass curtain walls. There are five 1,200-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes?two of which have private rooftop decks?and the sixth unit is a 900-square-foot ground level apartment, which has a private garden.

The interior design is not yet finalized, but plans currently call for the usual these days: wide plank floors, white lacquered kitchen cabinetry, Caesarstone counters, and stainless steel appliances. Construction should be complete by Spring 2014. Pricing and floorplans not yet available.
