On The Racked

Listen up, West Chelsea dwellers and Cobble Hill denizens. Because apparently the High Line is synonymous with both creativity and big-box retail, Target has leased a 5,000-square-foot ground floor retail space next to their new offices on West 25th Street between 10th and 11th avenues, and they'll be using it for events and new product exhibitions. Meanwhile, J. Crew's much-contested entrance into the heart of Brownstone Brooklyn has resulted in tons of national retailers itching to put down roots there, too. Said a realtor who deals with interested tenants: "Atlantic and Court is really the apex of higher-income Brooklyn residential as well as the density of the prime office market."
