We've called the six-stories of new construction at 10 Madison Square West a "tower o' penthouses," but really, we should be describing it as a penthouse-topped tower. There is one true penthouse in the new development, and thanks to a tipster, we got a first look at the floorplan. The unit is a five-bedroom, five-bathroom 6,708-square-foot duplex with a pretty great 1,665-square-foot rooftop terrace. A few readers will undoubtedly be pleased that there are two powder rooms?one near the entertaining area on the main level and one on the upper terrace level.
The penthouse is not yet publicly listed, but we previously were told that it would have an asking price north of $30 million. How far north has yet to be determined. Check out the interior renderings of the other apartments over here.
